Friendship’s worship ministry strives to be an encouragement to others through both song and lifestyle. Additionally, it is a goal of the ministry to see different members of the body of Christ use and refine the talents and gifts that God has given them through training, rehearsals and discipleship. And ultimately, we want everything we do to bring praise and honor to Jesus, for He alone is worthy of worship.Our worship ministry is currently led by our Minister of Music, Josiah Horton.
The goal of our Missions and Outreach ministry is to create a passion in the church for reaching out and ministering to the lost.This is seen through local, national, and international missions. Following the Acts 1:8 model, Friendship desires to be used by God in Weatherford and Parker County, TX, in the United States, and to the ends of the earth.We desire to make Christ’s name famous from the neighborhoods to the nations!
At Friendship, our goal is to connect children to Christ and to each other and to equip and support parents in their roles as primary spiritual leaders of their children. On Wednesday nights at 6:30 pm we have Friendship Kids, a night of incredible games and fun, along with a Bible study! Our Awaken Student Ministry exists to introduce students to Christ, help them grow in their faith, and teach them to serve God in the church and in the world.Come check us out on a Sunday morning at 9:45 am or on Wednesday nights at 6:30 pm.
